‘What I Like About Columbia Contest’
Columbia College would like to increase the amount of student, faculty and staff related information on the college website as well as on the College’s Facebook page. To meet this goal, Columbia College created the “What I Like About Columbia College” Contest.
Contest Official Rules:
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this promotion will be directed to Sponsor, not Facebook.
The “What I Like About Columbia” contest is sponsored by Columbia College. This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. Contestants understand the results of the contest are determined by Sponsor and are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law
The contest begins on February 1, 2016 at 8 am mst and submissions must be made by May 6, 2016 at 2 pm mst. All entries must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion. Contest winners will be determined May 20, 2015 at 1 pm mst.
How to Enter
Each contest entry must be submitted in to the Main Office at Columbia College with a Contest Form. The Contest form can be accessed via the link here (Testimonial Form), from a Program Chair/Director, or by contacting the College at firstname.lastname@example.org. Video testimonials must also be accompanied by a completed Contest Form. Video testimonials may be brought to the office on a USB device or, if possible, emailed to the Marketing Department at email@example.com.
Eligible testimonials will be added to the Columbia College Facebook page by Columbia College staff. Entries may also be used for other marketing purposes.
Submissions will focus on what the individual/group likes about Columbia College. The entry can also focus on how Columbia College either helped or is helping them meet their education or employment goals.
All participants whose face is clearly visible on a video must be named in the contest form. If a group wins the contest, the prize will be given to the first name on the list. That person will be responsible to divide the cash prize among the members of that group or whatever agreement the group has arranged.
Entering the contest gives Columbia College the right to use the entries (videos or written) on the Columbia College Facebook as well as on the Columbia College website or in other Columbia College promotional activities (see Publicity).
All eligible entries received during the contest period that meet the eligibility criteria will be entered to win. The entry with the most likes per category will win that category. Individuals may enter the contest in each applicable category more than once but can only win for one category. If one individual has the most “likes” in more than one category, they will win for the category where they received the most likes and the other category will go to the person with the second highest number of “likes”. The sooner a contestant submits their testimonial the sooner the main office can post it, and the more time they will have to collect “likes”. It may take up to 3 business days for a testimonial to be posted.
